At 2:24 a.m., a motorcycle struck the center divide on westbound I-80 just east of Kidwell Road in an unincorporated area of Solano County a few miles from Dixon, CHP Officer Scott Cakebread said.
CHP officers reported to the scene and found the motorcycle in the middle of the freeway, Cakebread said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at 2:36 a.m. after CPR was administered, he said.
The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of kin, Cakebread said.
