The crash was reported just before 9:40 a.m. Wednesday in a parking lot at 400 Oyster Point Blvd., South San Francisco police said.
He, a San Bruno resident, was apparently standing in a center island when he was hit by a car being driven in a parking stall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation, police said. Anyone who witnessed it is asked to call the South San Francisco Police Department's traffic division at (650) 877-8900.
