BEYOND THE HEADLINES
August 15, 2010
Kids & Nutrition
Hosted by ABC7's Cheryl Jennings
This week's episode of "Beyond the Headlines" talks about the importance of good nutrition for our children. There's a growing childhood obesity problem in this country, so making kids eat healthy foods is more important than ever. Earlier this year, First Lady Michelle Obama launched the "Let's Move" campaign to fight childhood obesity. We'll introduce you to several local individuals and organizations working to keep Bay Area children active and eating right. You'll also hear from a local mom who's making the difference in how her family and her community think about food. And learn some helpful tips on how you can easily make these changes at home.
