PG&E customers without power after vault fire

OAKLAND, CA

The fire broke out in a vault near Webster and 15th streets around 6:20 p.m.

According to PG&E, 1,260 customers are without power but 1,000 are expected to have service restored by 8 p.m.

No one was injured.
