13 arrested for trespassing at UC Berkeley

13 people were arrested for trespassing on Friday at UC Berkeley for demonstrating a building name change.

Thirteen people were arrested for trespassing Friday at UC Berkeley.

They occupied a building that was about to be dedicated as a global poverty center.

The demonstrators also oppose the decision to name the center for UC regent Richard Blum.

Demonstrators say while Blum works on behalf of global poverty, he has voted for layoffs, cutbacks and fee increases at the Berkeley campus.

As you may know, Blum is the husband of Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
