The U.S. Supreme Court rejected an appeal from Christian schools that want the UC System to grant college-prep credit for religion courses.

The justices denied a hearing to the Christian Schools Association, which accused the university of violating freedom of speech and religion with its policy.

University officials successfully argued the Christian schools' classes in biology, history, English and religion replace science with the bible.
