It all happened just after 2:30 a.m. Two water mains broke in Concord; there was an irrigation leak in Pleasant Hill and one break in Walnut Creek.
Crews and local police were on the scene earlier in the day to control the water flow.
Officials say water use was not affected and there was no serious flooding.
