A Bay Area photographer who got to spend a day in the life with the Beatles is finally sharing the pictures he took.

Stephen Goldblatt took random shots of the Beatles around London in July, 1968, while the band recorded its legendary "White Album."

Goldblatt, who's also a famed cinematographer, has never exhibited the photo's -- until now.

A collection of 25 shots, in an exhibit called "Mad Day Out" are now on display at U.C. Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism.

Goldblatt will be hosting a reception from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. this Friday at the university.
