Most middle class Americans say they won't have enough money to retire when the time comes. Wells Fargo surveyed workers and found most expect to keep working well into their golden years.

About 72 percent of middle class Americans expect to keep working beyond retirement age. The survey included workers aged 25 to 69.

It also found the average 50-year-old had saved just $29,000.

As for younger workers, they are doubtful they'll ever receive social security.
