Art In Schools
Hosted by ABC7's Cheryl Jennings
Today we are talking about art in schools. According to Stanford Redesign Institute's International study done in 2007, 89% of California K-12 schools fail to offer course study in all four art disciplines which are: music, visual arts, theater and dance. That percentage falls short of the State's goals for arts education in schools. Today we'll hear about the impact art programs have on children and what is being done to preserve them.
