Four Cupertino teens honored for returning money

CUPERTINO, Calif.

In August, Tobias Chin, Andrew Yoon, Rodney Tang and Brandon Gong found a white Halloween mask and $180. It turns out the cash -- plus about $40,000 more -- had been stolen from a Bank of America a few minutes earlier.

"We went around asking the locals, if anybody had been searching for a large sum of money, because it didn't belong to us and we can't keep money that doesn't belong to us," said Gong.

The four teens eventually found a Santa Clara County sheriff deputy and turned over the money.

During a ceremony Tuesday night, Bank of America rewarded them with a check for $200. Police believe that they've identified the bank robbery suspects.
