BART Board to discuss Dugger's future

OAKLAND, Calif.

According to the San Francisco Examiner, the board had voted 5-4 in a closed session two weeks ago to ask Dugger to step down. But that motion was later rescinded due to concerns it violated the state's open meeting laws.

Several people familiar with the board say the omission of Dugger's status from today's agenda indicates she will not be officially asked to resign, but is negotiating a departure on her own terms.
