The road will be closed from 10 p.m. on Sunday until 5 a.m. on Monday to allow for construction related to the I-880 High Street Seismic Retrofit Project.
The Department is advising motorists to use the following detours: northbound Coliseum traffic should turn right onto 50th Avenue, then left onto San Leandro Street, and end up at High Street.
Southbound Coliseum traffic should turn left on High Street, then right on San Leandro Street, and end up at Coliseum Way, officials said.
