The Food and Drug Administration ordered the recall after getting word of twelve reported cases of salmonella poisoning. The cantaloupes were sold at warehouse clubs like Costco between March 10 and the 21.
Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in children, the elderly and others with weak immune systems. Costco says it's called 150,000 customers to notify them of the recall.
