Family and friends watched in silence as a Marine honor guard escorted Lew's casket to a waiting hearse.
Lew died on March 27 in Helmand Province. He was a very popular 2008 graduate of Santa Clara High School. He was a skilled trick dancer who coached students there.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at the Church of the Valley in Santa Clara.
