A man was shot near the intersection of Apgar and Market streets just after 7:30 p.m., Officer Kevin McDonald said.
At about 11 p.m., a person was shot in the 8700 block of G Street, he said.
Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition with injuries that are not life threatening, McDonald said.
The Oakland Police Department doesn't have suspects in custody for either shooting.
