A South Bay man is rolling on the river again, after his kayak was stolen during a 10 week trip down the Mississippi River.

Jeff Pearson,47, of Campbell made it to the outskirts of Minneapolis Tuesday. He started three weeks ago at the river's source in upper Minnesota. On Saturday, thieves stole his kayak, but within a day, strangers found his boat and offered to replace his gear.

Pearson is hoping to raise money for people affected by the Mississippi River flooding.

His 9-year-old son will join him in Saint Louis next month.
