Mary Michaels, manager of the Pinewood Apartments in Redwood City, says she's so sick of tenants not cleaning up after their pets, she's hiring a DNA-testing service to find the culprit canine.
First she has to collect DNA samples by swabbing tenants' dogs' cheeks. Michaels said owners who are caught will have to pay $60, the cost of the test, as a deterrent for future offenses.
