Containers that fell off a leaking cargo ship in New Zealand have washed ashore more than 100 miles away.

Oil covered container parts have turned up along the New Zealand coast 115 miles east of the reef where the ship remains wedged. Maritime officials have sent a warning about the extended debris field.

Meanwhile salve crews are fighting against bad weather to try and pump oil from the ship's hull before it breaks apart.
