Crews from the San Mateo-Santa Cruz Cal Fire unit will carry out the burn in the areas of Johansen, Gazos Creek and Middle Ridge roads in northern Santa Cruz and southern San Mateo counties.
Smoke may be visible in the burn area for several days, Cal Fire officials said.
The Santa Cruz Fire Department, Central Fire Protection District, Scotts Valley Fire District and other agencies will participate.
