Music legend Carlos Santana is singing the praises of his alma mater, Mission High School in San Francisco, because of its huge accomplishment in graduating seniors getting into college. Santana came by ABC7 Thursday with the principal of mission high school, Eric Guthertz, to talk about that success.

"Eighty-five percent of our students got accepted into two and four year universities, including UCLA, UC Berkeley," said Guthertz.

"It's a choice to make every day the best day of your life, Now with education, you're talking about giving these kids some big wings," said Santana.

Santana attended Mission High in the 1960s. He's is going back to the school on Monday for a special concert and some of the students will get to perform on stage with him.
