PG&E gives grant to San Jose parks

PG&E has provided a $5,500 grant to help keep San Jose's parks a little cleaner.

The grant money, which was awarded to the San Jose Parks Foundation, will help launch a program to provide free bags for dog waste in city parks.

The foundations Community Park Development Program sponsors a variety of volunteer-driven activities, such as planting, caretaking and beautification.
