Contra Costa County Sheriff's deputies found a vehicle on the Arthur Road on-ramp in Pacheco. The driver said he stopped to get something he dropped under the seat.
When he got out, he says, a man came up, drew a gun, and fired a shot that busted one of the car's windows. The driver has minor wounds.
Police were unable to find the gunman.
