Hackers set up fake networks at airports

Experts say hackers have been able to use laptops to set up fake networks with names like "LAX Free Wi-Fi." People connect to those accounts, thinking they're the real thing, allowing hackers to track and record everything they do on the web while they're connected.

"So, if they go to their bank, it will grab all of their banking information. If they go to their Facebook, it'll grab all that. Their Twitter account. If they're writing love letters, I can grab all of that," said Gregory Evans, a cyber security expert.

To protect yourself, experts say find out who the real Wi-Fi provider is, and only use that. You should also change your passwords regularly, and use different passwords for different accounts.
