Copper links stolen from BART in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif.

This morning, someone took two 20 foot sections of copper wire in Oakland near Washington Street. The damage could cause delays or even cause trains to come to a sudden stop.

On Sunday, a BART train operator spotted a man along the tracks and called police but he was gone when they arrived. Another BART related copper theft was reported on Friday. Police say they have identified two possible suspects.
