New calendar would keep holidays consistent

Are you frustrated by keeping track of holidays that change dates from year to year like Easter, which can fall anywhere between March 22 and April 5?

An astrophysicist at Johns Hopkins University says he has a solution.

Richard Conn Henry is proposing a new, simpler calendar where each year is identical to the year before: Holidays and birthdays would fall on the same days of the week, making planning easier.

Adding an extra day February in a leap year would be dropped in favor of adding a leap week to December every five or six years.
