This morning, Saint Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco's Sunset District re-opened for the first time since a norovirus outbreak sickened more than 300 students and 30 teachers last week.

School officials and the health department shut the school down last Wednesday after students began reporting symptoms of the stomach flu.

Crews scrubbed down the entire school with bleach during the closure. Health officials say they believe the virus was brought in by a student. Norovirus is highly contagious and can be passed by casual contact.
