Felon found with 3 rifles, handgun during traffic stop

When officers pulled over a car in San Jose on Tuesday, they discovered the driver was a convicted felon with four guns in the car, San Jose police said.

Around 3:05 p.m., police stopped the driver near 770 Montague Expressway for vehicle code violations, police said.

Officers determined that the driver was a felon, and recovered three rifles and a handgun, police said.

The suspect was booked into jail for the code violation and for being a felon in possession of firearms, police said.
