Lorrain Taylor, founder of 1,000 Mothers to Prevent Violence, lost two sons to gun violence at the same time. She and other local mothers who lost children say the crimes often go unsolved and ask for witnesses to come forward.
The march takes place Saturday at the San Leandro Marina. Registration is at 9 a.m. and costs $20. The money will help provide counseling services.
