San Francisco's Boulevard wins top restaurant honor

SAN FRANCISCO

The James Beard Foundation named Boulevard the nation's best restaurant at a ceremony Monday night in New York City.

Boulevard is located on Mission Street near the Embarcadero and serves French-inspired dishes.

This is the first time since 2006 a Bay Area restaurant has won the James Beard award.
