Quite a mess was left behind after the 4th of July celebrations at Fort Mason's Great Meadow in San Francisco.
A spokeswoman for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area says people don't even try to put their litter in or next to a trash can. She says it's getting worse and it's stealing money that can be put to better use.
Workers collected 32 cubic yards of junk from the meadow early Thursday.
