Mosquito fogging scheduled for Brentwood

Pesticide trucks will be rolling through Brentwood to help control mosquitoes and stop the spread of the West Nile Virus.

The area to be fogged is in Brentwood. It's bordered by Sand Creek Parkway, Sellers Avenue, Balfour Road, and Brentwood Boulevard.

The spraying starts Monday night. Residents are being asked to not relocate during the fogging. It will involve mist shooting at an ultra-low volume from the back of trucks. The county will use a chemical called pyrocide which, while flammable, poses little threat to humans.
