American Taliban fighter fights prison prayer rule

SAN FRANCISCO

John Walker Lindh is serving a 20-year sentence for aiding the Taliban in Afghanistan. He's suing the federal government over religious rights at the Indiana prison where he is held.

Lindh says prison officials let inmates do group activities, but won't let them pray together. He says the school of Islam requires muslims to pray together five times a day. Not doing so is a sin.
