All lanes reopen on SB Hwy 101 in San Martin

All lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 in unincorporated Santa Clara County have reopened following a big rig collision early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A big rig traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 101 spilled its cargo of dirt across the roadway in the unincorporated town of San Martin, near the intersection with San Martin Avenue at about 11:43 p.m. Tuesday, according to the CHP.

All lanes of traffic reopened on southbound U.S. Highway 101 at about 3:05 a.m., according to the CHP.
