Monkeys in Japan keep warm by campfire

Looks like we aren't the only ones that like to keep warm by the fire. Monkeys at a zoo in central Japan also gather around a campfire to keep the cold at bay.

Zookeepers at the Japan Monkey Center in Inuyama make the fire every day during the winter for their 160 Japanese macaques. The monkeys lay around the fire, warming their backs.

And the flames don't just keep the animals toasty, zookeepers use the fire to bake sweet potatoes for the animals. The treats are a big hit with the monkeys.
