A Central California animal park will reopen Sunday, following Wednesday's attack in which a lion killed a 24-year-old intern.

Cat Haven owner Dale Anderson denied rumors that volunteer-intern Dianna Hanson was on her cell phone when the 550-pound lion named "Cous Cous" pounced on her and killed her instantly.

Anderson says Hanson was following all of the private zoo's protocols.

Sheriff's deputies shot and killed the 5-year-old lion.
