TSA Chief to testify about pocketknife proposal

WASHINGTON

American sent a letter to TSA Chief John Pistole urging him to reconsider the change because of safety concerns. Two of the four planes hijacked on September 11th were American jets. The new TSA policy would allow foldable knives with blades up to 2.36 inches as carry-on items. Pistole will testify before a House Homeland Security committee Thursday about the proposal.
