Filmmaker's creation uses tiny cameras to create special effect

"Bullet-time" is a special effect you've seen in multi-million dollar movies like "The Matrix." But a Bay Area man decided he could do it for less and wound up with a top trending video on YouTube.

Marc Donahue's rig fits up to 20 tiny GoPro cameras on a metal arc that fits in two hands and costs around $3,000. It produces the time-bending effect that was originally done with dozens of film cameras.

After being viewed half a million times in just two days, the video is paying off. Donahue's getting calls for work from just about everywhere. GopPro camera made it their video of the day and Donahue's hopes they'll sponsor him.
