A report suggests Hewlett Packard is trying to remove its name from HP Pavilion in San Jose.

The current agreement expires in 2016. However, tech website AllThingsD reports CEO Meg Whitman has said she would like to get out of the deal.

It costs HP $3.1 million a year. Any change would have to be approved by the San Jose City Council.
