Mountain lion spotted near Redwood City

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.

The big cat was spotted near Vista Drive in the Emerald Hills neighborhood around 10 p.m. Monday.

Residents are advised to avoid approaching a mountain lion, especially if it's feeding or with its cubs.
