Feds to allow Burning Man to continue through 2016

NEVADA

The radical arts event is held on federal land in Nevada's Black Rock Desert, during the week before Labor Day.

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management has issued Burning Man a new permit and increased the population cap to 68,000for this year's event.

The number of participants peaked at about 56,000 last year.

It's unclear if the change means Burning Man will put additional tickets on sale this year.
