The San Jose Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery at a check cashing facility. Around 7:45 A.M., a call came into reporting a male with a gun who attempted to commit a robbery at a check cashing facility on the 2100 block of Story Road in East San Jose. The victim reported shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers were informed the suspect had fled the scene into a nearby neighborhood.
Currently, the San Jose Police Department has set up a perimeter in the area and is attempting to locate the suspect. The unidentified suspect has not been located and remains at large.
No injuries were reported.
