The shooting took place at 7:40 a.m. and damaged a window at the Richard E. Arnason Justice Center, located at 1000 Center Drive. No injuries were reported.
Pittsburg police said a red Chevy Suburban was waiting for the suspect and drove off with the man after the shooting. Police were able to gather this information through surveillance video.
After a brief lockdown, the courthouse was reopened.
