San Pablo police seek suspects in brutal beating

SAN PABLO, Calif.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 8, two men attacked the victim on San Pablo Avenue after all three had left Noya Restaurant and Lounge located at 14350 Laurie Lane, San Pablo police Sgt. Scott Cook said.

The victim, a San Pablo man, was so badly injured that he remains hospitalized in serious condition, according to police. Police said they do not know what prompted the attack.

Investigators released surveillance footage from the restaurant, which shows the two men along with a woman who is believed to have driven the suspects away from the scene, police said.

Police said the two male suspects are both described as heavyset Hispanic men in their 20s. One was described as having short brown hair and a goatee and was wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.

The second man was described as having short brown hair and a light beard and had on a blue-and-white striped shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, police said.

The female suspect was described as a Hispanic woman in her 20s with long black hair extending to her lower back. She was wearing a gray sleeveless blouse, black pants and brown boots on the night of the attack, according to police.

All three suspects are wanted on suspicion of attempted murder.
