A Bay Area couple is suing Seton Medical Center in Daly City for allegedly losing their stillborn baby after housekeeping staff accidently place the body with dirty linens.

ABC7 News media partner the San Jose Mercury News reports the baby's body was found 65-miles away at a Santa Cruz commercial laundry facility. Workers discovered the child's corpse wrapped in a sheet and called police.

Rina and Julio Arriaza filed a lawsuit in San Mateo County Superior Court last week.

A spokesperson for The Daughters of Charity Health System, which operates Seton, declined to comment.
