Lockdown lifted after stabbing at Santa Rosa school

SANTA ROSA, Calif.

The Sonoma County fire and medical dispatch center received a report at 12:50 p.m. that there had been a stabbing at the school, located at 599 Bellevue Ave. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

A teacher was hurt in the stabbing and transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. School officials say the teacher is doing well.

Officials did not release any details on the stabbing suspect.

Police lifted the lockdown a few hours after the incident.
