BART has unveiled its first set of train cars that will make it easier for airline passengers to get to and from Oakland International Airport.

BART officials say the cars will ride above a three-point-two mile track. It's part of the $484 million Oakland Airport Connector Project.

The project won't be finished until the fall, but when it's done, the transit agency says air trains will be able shuttle passengers between its Coliseum Station and the Oakland airport in just 8 to 15 minutes.

A ticket to ride will cost between $4 and $6.
