A Fremont neighborhood hit by a rash of burglaries is starting to get results from home security cameras.

One of those cameras captured a man trying to burglarize a home on Totem Court last Friday.

The cameras also got a glimpse of the get-away car, a gold SUV.

It was just last week that Fremont police held a workshop on the use of home security cameras.

Police want residents to register their systems so they know who to turn to for video of crimes.

Police plan to hold more workshops on the use of security cameras.
