The fire was reported at 2:37 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of North 8th Street, near the downtown area, the dispatcher said.
The blaze was called under control at 3:42 a.m., she said.
No injuries were reported, however the American Red Cross was helping the three residents find temporary housing, she said.
