6.4 magnitude earthquake strikes coast of Mexico

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Pacific coast of Mexico, shaking the capital and sending frightened office workers streaming into the streets away from high-rise buildings.

The quake was centered near Tecpan de Galeana in southern Guerrero state. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
